On Friday morning 10th March 2006, I've handed in my resignation to SEEK, the company I worked for five and a half years. The driving force behind the resignation was my mission trip to Carlisle, UK. I don't really know when will I be able to raise the money to support myself for the next 6 months. But I believe God will provide people to support my trip.
Before the trip to UK, one of the things I want to do is to visit my uncle, my dad's brother in China. The trip to China is very much a discovery tour about my origin. It will be interesting to find out the place where my father grew up.
After the mission trip from Africa, I have not been taking time off. I needed one. The timing is good for me. Week or two break and 2 weeks trip to China. I will start my preparation for UK trip. I may pick up some contract work just to raise whatever remaining money I need. I am so relieve, I've never felt this way for a very long time.
P/s I will update my Doulos trip, now that I have more time.
